Kim Kardashian’s Vampire Facelift has fans flocking to doctors in latest trend

Kim Kardashian might have started something with her vampire therapy. The reality star shared a picture of her getting a procedure using her blood on her face to rejuvenate her looks. While the star has her beauty to consider when it comes to her shelf life of a career, it appears Kim Kardashian has also started a major trend. On Tuesday CNN reported that Beverly Hills physicians are booking appointments at a record pace to get the procedure done.

The cost of the procedure definitely isn't cheap. Spending thousands of dollars, women are lining up to have blood removed from their arm and then placed back in their face using a very small needle. In what is called a very safe process, the blood cells rejuvenate the skin making the slightly uncomfortable process worth the hassle.

"This week we have a lot of procedures lined up,” said Dr. Jason Diamond who is a well-known plastic surgeon in California and runs the Diamond Face Institute. “It's one hundred percent safe.”

While the Vampire Facelift has fans of reality television looking at the idea of the getting the needles poked in their faces to shave off some wrinkles, it appears that others are waiting to see the results. The therapy is rather new and so far there is no indications what the long term advantages are for the process.
