Kim Kardashian's secret date with Reggie Bush prompted her to file for divorce

Looks like infidelity may indeed be a factor in the Kim Kardashian – Kris Humphries divorce, after all.

Kim may have recently cheated on her husband, Kris Humphries, with her ex-boyfriend, Reggie Bush.

Apparently Kim Kardashian immediately filed for divorce 2 days following a secret lunch date she had with ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush, while Kris Humphries was out of town.

Some even suggest that Reggie Bush persuaded Kim Kardashian to divorce Kim Humphries so the two of them could reconcile.

According to a person close to NFL star Reggie Bush - the NFL star and Kim Kardashian met up on Saturday afternoon - when her husband Kris was OUT OF TOWN.

The insider, who spoke to MediaTakeOut.com on the condition of anonymity, revealed just how Kim and Reggie came to have lunch at Bar Masa:

Kim knew that Reggie was in town to play [the New York] Giants, so she asked him to meet for lunch."

At first Reggie told her NO - becausehe didn't have time.

Apparently the Miami Dolphins’ team jet was scheduled to arrive late Saturday afternoon, which would not have left Reggie Bush enough time to enjoy Kim Kardashian’s company before meetings and curfew.

But an unexpected snow storm in New York changes all that. The flight was rescheduled, which gave team members an extra 2 hours in New York things changed.

Reggie used this time to his advantage, and MediaTakeOut continues with this account.

The insider explained, "Reggie called Kim and they met up. Kim was very excited." The two ate in one of the restaurant's private booths.

Wendy Williams Attempts to Get the Truth

In a recent interview with Kris Jenner on the Wendy Williams Show, talk show host Wendy Williams attempted to get the truth.

Although Kris Jenner was there to promote her new book, Kris Jenner and All Things Kardashian, which was released the day Kim Kardashian announced she was filing for divorce, Wendy questioned her about Kim’s secret lunch date with her ex-boyfriend, Reggie Bush.

Kris Jenner, clearly taken aback, expressed surprise, became flustered, then gave a vague answer, saying

“I don’t think that’s true. Is there a picture?”

Wendy Williams gave Kris a knowing look and said:

Well, if they have a security camera . ..

Why Kim Kardashian REALLY Filed for Divorce

When questioned in a recent interview on an Australian talk show, Kim says she filed for divorce because of “ intuition. But many people feel Kim’s decision to divorce Kris Humphries had a lot to do with her secret lunch date with ex boyfriend,Reggie Bush, for whom Kim is said to still be carrying the torch.

Kim Kardashian dated Reggie Bush off and on for about 3 years before they finally broke up.

It was the sex tape with Ray J, which allegedly put Kim Kardashian on the road to fame.

According to Bossip.com, a source close to Kim says Reggie definitely played a major role in her decision to file for divorce.

In Touch Weekly reports that Kim and Reggie have been getting very close again, talking and texting on a regular basis.

A close pal told In Touch

“I wouldn’t be surprised if they have taken things further.”

MediaTakeOut says divorcing Kris Humphries was a prelude to Kim and Reggie Bush rekindling their romance.

In a subsequent article, MediaTakeOut claims that Reggie Bush refused to have sex with Kim Kardashian unless she was officially single.

MediaTakeOut.com, quotes an insider as saying:

"Reggie told her (Kim) that he would not do anything with her unless she was single.

Shehad to get an official divorce before he (Reggie) would ever even consider having a physical relationship with Kim.

What a coincidence that 2 days later, Kim filed for divorce! She certainly didn’t waste any time.

When Kim Kardashian’s divorce from Kris Humphries is final, will she and Reggie Bush rekindle their romance?
