Kim Kardashian may have that "pregnancy glow," but she also has a pregnancy-related problem -- or perhaps not. On Tuesday, she tweeted an image of her lips, with the comment:

It's not really something that is commonly known about. It is, however, a valid possible "side effect" from pregnancy.
It doesn't seem to be something that is easy to find on Wikipedia. However, swelling or plumping of a woman's lips is commented about more than once at the well-known site, BabyCenter. In one question on the site, a woman asked:
My sister took some pictures at Christmas and I thought my lips looked bigger. I took some pictures last night trying to figure out what was wrong with my camera. My lips are definitely bigger than they were. I asked my husband and he said he had noticed they have been bigger for a few months now. I KNOW that my nose has become huge compared to before. I knew that wasn't uncommon. I have never heard anyone say that their lips have become bigger. Anyone's lips a little more luscious? :)
The comments indicated it's not an unknown "side effect."
I am 32 weeks and the last couple days I have noticed my lips feel bigger than they usually are. My DH says he doesn't really notice it, but I definitely can feel a difference, especially in the top one. I'm not noticing much swelling or puffiness anywhere else in my face. Just my lips. I'm wondering if this is pregnancy related? Hormones? It's to the point where I'm more comfortable breathing with my mouth open because I feel like my lips get in the way! Strange, I know.
I don't have any allergies that I know of, so I don't think it would be an allergic reaction.

The results were the same: some said they have never heard of it, while others related experiencing the matter or witnessing it.
While Kardashian was commenting on her facial lips, it should be noted that the site The Bump noted, in its "Top 10 Things They Should Really Warn You About Before You Get Pregnant," that vaginal lips could also get larger, "even swell a bit -- as you near that nine-month mark."
As Kardashian said, "I guess it's not a bad problem to have." A Twitter search for that hashtag shows some folks agree. Most, on the other hand, don't care or make fun of Kim. For example:
