According to TMZ on Feb. 6, Kim Kardashian's pregnancy could be at risk of a miscarriage due to significant stress caused by her husband of 72 days, NBA player Kris Humphries, dragging out their divorce.
Kim began dating Kris Humphries in early October 2010, and the couple became engaged in May 2011. The marriage took place on August 20 in California, and after only 72 days, Kardashian filed for divorce due to irreconcilable differences. According to several news outlets at the time, Kardashian's marriage to Humphries was simply a publicity stunt used to promote the Kardashian family name.
Sources close to the situation told TMZ that Kim's doctor was called to the house during the night several days ago because she was having severe pain. After an examination, the doctor warned Kim that the pain was stress-related and continued stress could cause long-term effects on the unborn fetus. According to her doctor, Kim needs to handle the stress to avoid further complications.
The thought of their divorce ending in a public trial appears to be the contributing source of stress for Kim. Kardashian could release Kris Humphries from his prenuptial agreement, grant him his annulment and quickly end the divorce proceedings, preventing a public trial. However, currently the prenup is restricting Kris from exposing the truth about their fake marriage and all the lies and deception that go along with it.
As of now, Kris and Kim's divorce could possibly go to trial this summer, around the same time Kim and American rapper boyfriend, Kanye West's, baby is due to be born.
What do you think Kim should do? Do you think she should just release Kris from the prenup, grant him an annulment and get on with her life, or do you think what Kris might reveal about their fake marriage after an annulment would be more stressful on Kim's pregnancy than the stress of a public trial?
