Kim Kardashian's excessive workouts spur miscarriage scare

Pregnant Kim Kardashian was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital and ordered to bed rest over concerns her excessive workout regimen could endanger her baby.

“Kim started feeling ill on the plane from Paris, and called friends as soon as she landed,” a source told the NY Post. “She was rushed to her doctor Tuesday night [March 5] in tears. She thought she was having a miscarriage.”

The miscarriage scare was a false alarm, but doctors reportedly ordered the jet-setting reality TV star to get more rest and cut back on her rigorous workouts.

“Kim’s not respecting her pregnancy,” says an insider. “She’s running around, working out seven days a week. She’s working with two different trainers to control her weight, including Tracy Anderson and a pregnancy trainer.”

Anderson, who helped Kardashian's sister Kourtney lose 44 pounds six months after she gave birth to her second child, is known for her punishing two-hour workout sessions.

Tracy, who herself lost 30 pounds just six weeks after she had her second child, has promised that Kim will be fitter and thinner than ever after childbirth. "She’s going to look better after pregnancy than she has ever looked," Anderson vowed. "I guarantee it.”

Kardashian is reportedly terrified of getting fat during her pregnancy, and has recently whined about her weight gain. “She’s scared that her *ss is as big as a couch and is going south,” says a source. “But she is having a very rough pregnancy, and doctors have ordered her to slow down.”

Kim has yet to comment on the miscarriage scare, but her sister Khloe addressed the issue on her blog, writing:

"A lot of you have expressed concern in the recent hours about Kim, and I just wanted to let you all know that mommy and baby are doing fine and just taking it easy right now. Thank you so much to all of our wonderful fans and loved ones for your concern and support."
