Kim Kardashian looks and feels fantastic after losing 50 pounds on the low-carb Atkins diet, but admits she still has a weakness for her favorite comfort foods: doughnuts and chili-cheese fries.
"Krispy Kreme doughnuts [are my favorite junk food]," Kim said in a Mobio Q&A Dec. 16. "Don't tempt me. I'm doing good right now."
Kardashian said cheese was her go-to pregnancy treat. "[My pregnancy cravings were] mostly cheese, chili-cheese fries, everything with cheese," she said.
Kardashian lost all her baby weight six months after giving birth to daughter North (in June 2013) by following a strict low-calorie diet that limited carb intake to less than 60 grams a day.
Kim's diet was a low-carb, high-fat ketogenic-style diet known for producing rapid weight loss. She also worked out daily, combining cardio exercise with weight-training.
Kardashian said new moms should make time to exercise and get relaxing beauty treatments so they don't feel overwhelmed.
"Never lose time for you," said Kim, 33. "Go to the gym, get a facial or manicure to feel good so you can go home and [create] a good happy home."
Kim, who previously revealed that cruel media fat-shaming "chipped away at my soul," again underscored how hard her pregnancy was because of the constant scrutiny over her weight and body.
"When I was pregnant it was hard," Kim said. "My face shape changed, my body changed, and nothing in the tabloids were going to be nice. It was a negative time."
All that has changed now that Kardashian has regained her sizzling pre-baby body, and is enjoying motherhood and her engagement to singer Kanye West.
"[Motherhood] completely changed my life," she said. "You have a different set of priorities. Nothing matters except your brand new family. I love every minute of it!"
