Kim Kardashian reveals black eye from fight, brother Rob suffers concussion

Reality TV actress and socialite Kim Kardashian recently took part in a boxing match, ending in a total KO for the star - And a black eye.

Kardashian, along with stepbrother Rob and Bruce Jenner, entered the ring this week on Tuesday (explains these Twitter photos of her and sister Khloe).

"I have a black eye!!!!!" she tweeted earlier today from her Twitter page. On her blog the star revealed that while the family thought it would be all play and giggles for charity (The Dream Foundation) it ended up being a full on brawl for the family.

"The event itself was absolutely insane!!," Kim, 29, said on her blog today. "None of us are professional fighters... we literally had three days of training to prepare for the event and thought it would be a little bit of fun to raise money for one of our favorite charities," she said. Adding, "We didn't expect what happened."

Kim says baby step-bro Rob was matched up with a fighter that was an assumed 25-pounds heavier than him.

"At one point Rob's mask fell off and when he put his hands down he got hit in the face and ended up in hospital with a concussion," Kim tells fans. "Rob's a strong guy and can definitely hold his own, but he wasn't expecting to get hit after his mask had fallen off! This guy just got really down and dirty!"

After Rob hobbled out of the ring, Kim said she had to step in "for charity" adding that "my girl could throw a punch".

"Rob is doing fine now and my black eye will be gone soon... I hope," she said. "You can try to bring the Kardashians down... but we're a strong family. A concussion and a black eye can't hold us down!"
