Kim Kardashian has been reported to have announced that she is ready to quit her popular E! reality TV show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." On Wednesday, Feb. 20 Wetpaint reported that the new mother-to-be stated during an interview with DuJour magazine that the ninth season of the show would be her last.
The rest of the Kardashian family have reportedly signed the deal for two more seasons of the show, and have just began filming season eight, which will air in June.
Kim Kardashian has revealed that the experience of reality TV has "truly been the best family movie ever" but, they have been living their lives on television since 2007 and she is ready to be done with it.
“I think there’s always an evolution of, you know, what you want to do in life,” she said. “It’s all about finding things that really excite you and motivate you and spark you all over again. I’m realizing that no matter what, if you go into something with all these expectations and plans, once you’re actually living it, it could be completely different.”
One other reason for Kim K. wanting to depart from her reality show life, could be that since she and boyfriend Kanye West found out that they were expecting their bundle of joy, they have made it extremely clear that they will not allow their child to appear on TV.
What is next for Kim Kardashian after reality television? It has not been decided yet, will she continue her modeling career, or retire of her multi-millions that she has already earned, marry Kayne West, and become a full-time wife and mother?
