Those Kim Kardashian pregnant rumors now seem valid. Rapper Kanye West was the first to announce he and his reality TV star girlfriend are expecting their first child together. The news has since been confirmed by other sources.
A report on Dec. 31 from CNN via Fox8.com indicates that a spokesman for Kardashian has confirmed the news to CNN. He only noted that Kanye announced the news at a show on Sunday in Atlantic City. Kanye has been performing a Revel concert series there.
What's the news without the other Kardashians chiming in to make it official though? Khloe Kardashian said on Twitter:
“Keeping secrets is hard with so many family members! Especially when you are so freaking excited!!!!! LOVE is everything!!!!"
Meanwhile Kourtney tweeted:
"Been wanting to shout from the rooftops with joy and now I can! Another angel to welcome to our family. Overwhelmed with excitement!"
The hashtag combo name "#Kimye" also started making its rounds on Twitter after the big news hit on New Year's Eve nonetheless. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have been a couple for eight months now, even though Kim is still legally married to Kris Humphries. The duo filed for divorce just 72 days after getting married back in October of 2011.
However, that divorce has yet to be finalized due to a bitter legal battle. Meanwhile, Kim and Kanye are just a couple dating on the side, now expecting their first child. While many will be happy for the news, expect plenty of jabs and remarks made on Twitter and other social media sites as the big news continues to marinate.
