Kim Kardashian posted a photo of a gun this week via her Instagram account before taking it down after she was criticized for the image and its implications, when as recently as last month she asked her followers to sign a petition to end gun violence after the Sandy Hook shootings.
Kim Kardashian's gun photo was a diamond-encrusted pistol shared via Instagram, which was a .22 caliber revolver with the handle covered in jewels. Kardashian quickly deleted the gun photo, but not before she was bombarded with tweets directed at the reality star slamming her for being insensitive to the victims of the Sandy Hook school shooting and questioning her motives. The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star left people wondering what she was thinking as just last week she signed a petition to end gun violence and encouraged her fans to do the same.
This isn't the first time Kim has posted photos of guns on her social media sites. In November, she shared photos with the world of herself at a shooting range and in June of last year she posted a photo of Yves St. Laurent designer handgun via Twitter.
