Kim's sizzling post-baby bikini body was recently featured on the cover of Us. Interestingly, Kardashian is critical of the bikini photo, saying she needs to lose more weight.
"It was OK," she said. "I think I still have about 10 pounds to go."
Kardashian, 33, is traveling with fiancé Kanye West on his Yeezus tour, but is staying in shape with the help of a fitness trainer and a private chef.
"Kim is working out almost every day," said an insider. "It's usually running and weight training. With the exception of some cheat days, she sticks with [her low-carb diet]."
Kardashian lost 50 pounds just five months after giving birth to daughter North (in June 2013) on a 2,000-calorie-a-day diet that limited her carb intake to less than 60 grams a day.
Kim's diet was a low-carb, high-fat ketogenic-style diet known for producing rapid weight loss. Kardashian's daily menu typically looks like this:
- Breakfast: Omelette or Greek yogurt with berries and slivered almonds.
- Snacks: One to two ounces of nuts or a guacamole dip with fresh veggies.
- Lunch & dinner: A serving of fish, poultry, eggs, or lean red meat with lots of fiber-rich vegetables prepared with olive oil.
Kardashian also exercises regularly, combining rigorous cardio workouts with strength-training. Kim is proud of the hard work she has put in, and slammed rumors that she got weight-loss surgery.
"I am very frustrated seeing reports that I got surgery to lose my baby weight!" she said. "This is false. I worked so hard to train myself to eat right and healthy. I work out so hard. Say what you want about me, but I work hard and am the most disciplined person you will ever meet!"
Kim previously said dealing with excess weight gain during pregnancy was even harder because of gloating haters, who viciously fat-shamed her as her girth expanded.
"I was gaining weight because I was pregnant, and it was really hard to hear all these nasty things," said Kardashian, who said the cutting insults "chipped away at my soul."
However, she admitted the fat-shaming fueled her intense motivation to regain her pre-baby body as quickly as possible, and she has.
