If you have been waiting to see the end of Kim Kardashian's marriage to Kris Humphries, it looks as though you could be waiting for a little while longer ... at least based on some of the new reports that are coming out now.
Sources have confirmed that a trial date for the E! reality star and her estranged husband, who have been apart now for almost a year and a half after their 72-day marriage, has been set for May 6. The reason for this, rather than the trial happening in the coming weeks as Kim and her attorney Laura Wasser were originally hoping, is so that Kris' basketball schedule with the Brooklyn Nets can be easily accommodated. While there is no guarantee that their season will be over at that time (as they could very well still be taking part in some playoff games), February is right in the middle of basketball season.
This has been a tumultuous week already for Kris, as he has reportedly lost one of the attorneys in his case of his insistence to seek an annulment rather than just go for a standard divorce, which he is much more likely to get at this point given the lack of evidence out there that Kim based the marriage on a desire for publicity.
What do you think: should this drama just end already, so that Kim can focus on her TV show? If you want to read some more of the latest Kardashian news, all you have to do is visit the story that is online over here.
