Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have a prenup ready to go for when they get married in May. According to Radar Online, the power couple is working out all of the kinks as they prepare for their upcoming wedding. On March 7 it was reported that Kim will get $1 million a year for up to 10 years from Kanye if the couple decides to split. She will also keep any jewelry he buys her -- and the house that they have been working on? It's in Kim's name (it's okay, Kanye can afford another one).

"The entire process for the prenup for Kim and Kanye has been extremely easy, and relatively drama free. Kanye didn’t even think the couple needed a prenup, and was ready to give Kim carte blanche to all of his financial assets. Yes, he loves Kim that much," a source told Radar Online.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had to have a prenup just because it's a technicality. When celebrities have so much money, it's better to be protected, especially in the state of California. You see, without a prenup, Kim would be entitled to half of Kanye's money and assets by law. Since the couple ironed things out, there won't be any disputes if they do decide to divorce in the future.

Some people look at a prenuptial agreement as a bad omen but in Hollywood, no one can take chances. Most celebrity relationships don't work -- and while Kim might deserve her happy ending, she and Kanye both need to protect their assets.

Will Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's prenup go to use? Only time will tell.
