Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are married. The couple tied the knot in Florence, Italy. They flew their wedding guests to the Fort di Belvedere on Saturday evening after spending the past few days celebrating in Paris, France. According to People Magazine, Rich Wilkerson Jr., a pastor from North Miami, officiated the ceremony.
In one of the most picture perfect moments, Kim walked down the aisle on the arm of her step-dad, Bruce Jenner, whilst Andrea Bocelli sang Con te Partiró (With You I Live). Kim met Kanye at the makeshift altar which had a backdrop of flowers -- a wall of flowers, if you will (perhaps a larger version of the one that Kanye gifted to Kim on Mother's Day). It is believed that they both wrote their own vows.
A source said that Kanye was nervous before the nuptials. "It was funny how nervous he was. He clearly knew the gravity of what he was about to do. This morning he was all smiles, but as it got closer, you could see that the nerves were kicking in. It's common for most grooms. I've seen it all before."
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West chose to get married in Florence, Italy because that is where their daughter, North, was conceived. The beautiful location boasts breathtaking views and provided the perfect spot for Kim and Kanye to become man and wife.
There were about 200 wedding guests (despite the crazy reports of over 1,000 guests), all of whom were described as Kim and Kanye's "closest family and friends." According to The Inquisitr, some people didn't make the trip to Italy to celebrate the couple's nuptials. Kim's step-brother, Brody Jenner, sat out the event as did Kanye's BFF, Jay-Z.
So far, no pictures (close up) of Kim and Kanye have been released. Celebuzz posted a photo that appears to be of Kimye's ceremony but you can't see much. Many hope that Kim will release a photo soon but she's likely enjoying her day and staying off social media while she celebrates with her new husband.
Kim fans are simply dying to hear all about her dress -- rumor has it she wore three different gowns throughout the evening -- and to see a photo of North West!
