Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are expecting a baby together, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed on Sunday, Dec. 30 after Kanye made the announcement to a packed house of concertgoers in Atlantic City.
Many congratulatory tweets came from family and friends who are over the moon excited for the couple, who have been dating since April 2012.
Less than 30 minutes after the Kardashian-West baby news broke, a parody Twitter account, @BabyofKimye, was created. A user immediately tweeted, “He has risen,” and another tweeted “Suck it Blue Ivy.”
While Kim Kardashian’s friends and family may be ecstatic that the reality television personality is pregnant with Kanye West’s baby, there were also some nasty, negative and sarcastic tweets posted on Twitter.

Kim Kardashian is still legally married to Kris Humphries. It is not clear whether the two will be divorced by the time Kardashian’s and West’s baby arrives. Perhaps being pregnant with Kanye West’s baby will motivate Kim to reach a settlement with Kris Humphries.
