Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West announced to the world that they were expecting a baby this past New Years Day and are now happily spreading the word that they will be having a girl.
US weekly recently said that a source close to the couple said this;
"They're over the moon!. Kanye always wanted a girl."
Due in July, this baby is already prepared to be one of the most stylish little girls ever, especially if daddy Kanye get his way, Kim told Jimmy Kimmel;
"If anyone knows Kanye, they just know how into fashion he is, and I think he's going to have things specially made," Kim said, "I don't think hand-me-downs are going to work."
Of course they will not, and with Kim as the mama, knowing how fashion savvy she and her whole family are, this baby will be on the best dressed list straight from the hospital.
Kim has always wanted a baby and is a very loving aunt to sister Kourtney's two children, Mason and Penelope.
The pair stated quietly dating in April of last year after being friends for a long time. KIm was and is still in the midst of her divorce proceedings from Kris Humphries and Kanye was there to support Kim when she needed it most.
Rumors of the couple being a pair spread for many months but there was never no official announcement of them dating or seeing each other.
When they announced the pregnancy, Kanye shared the news in a big way.
Kanye spilled the news about the pregnancy at a concert one night in Atlantic City and that started fans tweeting and posting about the announcement everywhere.
Kanye announced to the audience;
“stop the music and make noise for my baby mama,”
Kim was in the audience glowing.
Friends and family members could not keep the secret any longer either after that announcement and tweeted about the great news;
Khloe Kardashian Odom, Kim's sister tweeted;
"@RealLamarOdom: I'm excited for Kanye and my sister! There's nothing like bringing life into this world! Let's keep Gods blessings coming!"
Kim said;
"He is so excited," she gushed. "It's really cute how excited he is."
Kim recently said that after filming season 10 of her family show; "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" she will not do reality TV anymore, and focus more time on the baby.
She is also taking care of her body and her health saying;
"I used to always say I can't wait to get pregnant because I will just eat whatever I want, but it's completely different, I'm like, OK, I want to eat as healthy as possible".
She says that watching the TV shows, like; " I am pregnant ad addicted " make her feel better when wanting to splurge;
"It definitely makes me feel better if I'm wanting one sip of Diet Coke or, you know, too much sugar. I'm like, This woman is on meth."
Kim is still in the process of filing for divorce from Humphries and is hoping that she will be divorced when she has the baby. Humphries though seems to be taking his time and is in no rush to get the divorce, especially since it was announced shortly after that he legally could be named as Kim and Kanye's baby daddy by law if the pair is not legally divorced.
Kim just wants it all to end, and to focus on what she has always wanted, being a mommy to a baby with the man she loves.
She recently said this;
"I am requesting the status of my marriage be determined now for not only my health and welfare but also for the health and well-being of my unborn child. I firmly believe that an immediate dissolution of our marriage will help create a new, full life for me. One chapter will be officially over, and a new one can begin. The same should hold true for Kris."
