Rumors have been flying for months about Kim and Kanye having a baby. West dropped the bombshell at a Sunday night concert. Kim Kardashian is pregnant with his child. According to People West revealed that he and Kim are expecting their first child.
Kardashian later confirmed the news in her blog. The post was entitled “New Year, New Beginnings”. In the blog Kim said, “It’s true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby. We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us. Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family. Happy New Year!!! Xo”
The Twitter sphere went wild with congrats from family and friends. Kris Jenner tweeted, “Oh BABY BABY BABY!!” Kim’s sister Kourtney added, “Been wanting to shout from the rooftops with joy and now I can! Another angel to welcome to our family Overwhelmed with excitement!”
West, 35, and Kardasian, 32, went public with their relationship April of this year. They made the announcement approximately six months after Kardashian announced her divorce from Humphries.
During Sunday’s night’s concert at Revel Resort’s Ovation Hall West broke out freestyle while singing “Runaway” by saying “and now she is having my baby”. The 5,000 strong crowd broke into applause. West was not finished during his last song he stopped the concert and asked his fans to applaud his “baby mama”.
The exact time and phrase are uncertain. TMZ reports West was singing, “God brought us a whole new plan, baby. Cause now you’re having my baby.” According to TMZ as Yeezy launched into his next song he asked the crowd, Can we make some noise for my baby mama right quick?”
Shortly after the announcement Khloe Kardashian is said to have tweeted, "Keeping secrets is hard with so many family members! Especially when you are so freaking excited!!!"
