There's another Kardashian on the way!
Boyfriend and rapper Kanye West broke the news on stage Sunday night in Atlantic City during a performance at Revel, singing "God brought us a whole new plan, baby. 'Cause now you're having my baby."
Kim confirmed the news and posted this statement on her blog, giving a special shout-out to her late father and Kanye's late mother:
"It’s true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby. We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us. Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family. Happy New Year!!! Xo"
Rumors that the reality star was pregnant began this past week, when MediaTakeOut reported that she had been spotted leaving an OB-GYN's office with West.
It will be the first child for both.
Kim's sisters took to Twitter to congratulate the pair soon after West's reveal, and it appears they had been sitting on the secret for at least a short while. Khloe Kardashian tweeted:
"Keeping secrets is hard with so many family members! Especially when you are so freaking excited!!!!! LOVE is everything!!!!"
And from sister Kourtney:
"Been wanting to shout from the rooftops with joy and now I can! Another angel to welcome to our family. Overwhelmed with excitement!"
