The will she or won't she drama just took another turn in the Kim Kardashian pregnancy rumors. Originally, reports surfaced that Kardashian was not going to allow her baby to appear on reality television, but then conflicting reports arose that said the baby would be on the Kardashian's shows. Reality TV World reported on Jan. 9 that Kardashian put her foot down and said the baby will not be on TV.
A source close to the family said that Kardashian doesn’t even want the baby to be seen the first six months and that she plans to really start to retreat from being so public.
Of course, there are also rumors that Kris Jenner plans to help Kim and Kanye West secure a multi-million dollar deal for the first baby photos, but that is very different than trotting the baby out in videos for the world to see. Plus, there is the fact that selling baby photos is one way that celebrities keep the paparazzi at bay.
The question now comes as to whether Kim Kardashian can really pull herself out of the public eye. She is one of the best examples of self-made celebrities, a person with no discernible talents who puts herself out in the public eye and creates a brand that makes her a public star.
Hopefully, for the baby's sake, she can dial things back after the delivery.
