Kim Kardashian is single for the first time in a while. After splitting from Reggie Bush last March, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star fell into a new relationship with Miles Austin. But as she reached her 30th birthday last month, Kim found herself single and on her own.
As the cover story on the latest issue of "People," Kim's love life is exposed. "I thought I'd be married by now," the headline reads.
"There was at time in my life where all I wanted was a relationship," Kardashian tells the magazine in this week's cover story, "and I thought that was the most important thing."
But Kim has found freedom in her single status. Focusing on opening a new DASH store, filming her new reality show, and even hosting a new ABC special, Kim has plenty to keep her busy.
But Kim has never let a busy schedule keep her from dating. She has been linked to John Mayer and Kanye West in recent weeks. She is embracing her single status with open arms.
"Is it weird that I'm now the single one? It's definitely a change for me," she admits. "I have always been the one in a relationship. I like that role, I want that best friend partnership."
