Kim Kardashian doesn't feel sorry for her brother Rob's weight-loss problems because she's fed up with his self-pitying ways.
"We've all been here to offer him help and he won't take it, so I don't have sympathy," Kim said on the July 20 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
"I think I'm just more of the tough love kind of person. My personality is like, 'You complain [about your weight], you don't like it. Now get up and do something about it.' "
Kim made the remarks while vacationing in Thailand with her family, where she, Khloe and others discussed Rob's last-minute decision to skip their family vacation. Khloe reminded Kim that Rob's issues go deeper than just weight, but Kim remained undeterred in her lack of sympathy.
"Rob has deeper issues than just weight," said Khloe, who said her divorce from NBA star Lamar Odom had hit Rob especially hard because he and Odom were close friends for years.

Rob's recent dramatic weight gain (rumored to be between 70 and 100 pounds) has been an ongoing source of concern for the Kardashian family, who are not only worried about his physical health, but his emotional welfare.
Rob's sister Kourtney had remarked on a recent episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" that Rob's serotonin levels were dangerously low. Low serotonin causes depression, anxiety and other mood disorders.
Rob's sisters also remarked that his weight problems have made him more reclusive. Rob skipped sister Kim's lavish May 24 wedding at the last minute. Sources said Rob was embarrassed by his weight gain and felt out of place with all the slim, attractive guests at Kim's star-studded wedding.
The 5-foot-10 Rob, who reportedly weighs more than 260 pounds, has made no secret of his struggle to slim down. Rob's weight has made numerous headlines, as reports surfaced that he was considering stomach-stapling surgery or going to fat camp.
Rob's weight has been a running theme on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" for the past three years. On a recent episode, a doctor's visit revealed Rob was in danger of developing diabetes and kidney problems.
“Your liver is shutting down,” said Rob's mother, Kris Jenner. “This is life-threatening at this point. You can only sustain this level of being unhealthy for so long.”

Rob has since been hitting the gym every day with his trainer, Gunnar Peterson. Peterson helped Khloe lose 30 pounds last year. He also trains Kim, who lost 56 pounds in six months on a low-carb ketogenic-style Atkins diet.
Gunnar said he has been putting Rob through rigorous hour-long, high-intensity workouts that combine cardio exercise and weight training.
Meanwhile, newlywed Kim has maintained her stunning 56-pound weight loss by working out daily and following the low-carb Atkins diet, a high-fat ketogenic-style diet known for producing rapid weight loss.
Kim said losing the baby weight was the hardest thing she had ever done, but also one of the most rewarding. The 5-foot-3 Kim recently revealed she weighs 125 pounds — five pounds less than her pre-baby weight.
"I work out so hard and this was such a challenge for me but I did it!" she tweeted. "I'm so proud of my accomplishment."
