Kim Kardashian surely couldn’t have been pleased with the recent cover of Star Magazine that featured an unflattering side shot of the pregnant celebrity. However, Kim posted a similarly uncomplimentary photo on her Kim Kardashian Facebook page today, March 21, so maybe she didn’t find the Star Magazine fat photo offensive at all.
The photo on the Star Cover featured the normally fashion-savvy Kardashian wearing a tight black and white dress that emphasized her burgeoning baby bump and equally burgeoning trademark behind. The effect was comical like something from a Saturday Night Live sketch. You can see the Kim Kardashian fat photo from Star Magazine attached to this article.
Until Kim posted her own “Mrs. Doubtfire” fat photo on the Kim Kardashian Facebook page, there was some incredulity about the Star photo. The first thought upon seeing it in the grocery store line was that it was surely photo shopped. You can view Kim’s bathroom snapshot here to see that it’s all real; that’s no pillow back there!

Maternity dresses used to be made of soft pastels, usually smocked in a flowing style, and trimmed with ribbon and lace. Pregnancy is one time when a woman can wear more feminine, girly fashions without appearing silly. The feminine air of older maternity styles enhanced the glow of pregnancy.
At some point, tighter clothes in harsher, business-like neutrals replaced the maternity wardrobes that got lovingly passed from family member to family member. As you will see in the attached slideshow, the Kim Kardashian maternity style has carried all the worst trends to a new low.
