Kim Kardashian divorce stressing baby, but Kris Humphries won’t rush to help (Video)

Kim Kardashian’s doctor believes her unborn baby could be at risk due to the stress of her divorce from Kris Humphries, TMZ is reporting today. Kim has been experiencing severe pains that her doctor can only attribute to stress, and the only stress in her life right now is said to be her divorce proceedings. Meanwhile, NBA star Kris Humphries has no intentions of speeding things up in order to help Kim Kardashian out with her unplanned pregnancy. Kris, who turns 28 today, is still trying to prove that his 32 year-old reality star wife perpetrated a fraud on him with the marriage, and is seeking an annulment.

Several days ago Kim Kardashian summoned her doctor to her home in the middle of the night due to severe pains. After examining her, stress was believed to be the root cause of her distress.

Sources claim the only source of significant stress in Kim’s life at the moment is the divorce. They claim that just hours before a Tuesday meeting with her divorce attorney Laura Wasser, Kim’s pains “returned in full force”.

But E! News reports today that the NBA player's lawyer has filed a motion to block Kardashian’s request to set an immediate trial date to finalize their divorce. Kris Humphries' team claims that the E! star is trying to get a leg up in the proceedings by trying to speed things through the discovery process.

In court filings, Kris’ attorney Marshall Waller stated, “What is really going on here is that an 'urgency' in the form of an apparently unplanned pregnancy, something the Respondent had nothing to do with, is perceived by Plaintiff as an opportunity to gain a litigation advantage by trying to force this court to prematurely set this matter for trial”.

Kim filed for divorce from Humphries on Oct. 31, 2011, just 72 days after they tied the knot in a lavish televised event. The next hearing to determine readiness to go to trial will take place Feb. 15.

Kim Kardashian’s doctor has warned her that she needs to handle the stress or else there could be “long-term effects”. What that means isn’t exactly clear, but sources say Kim is “freaked out” that her pregnancy could be at risk.
