Kim Kardashian’s dragged out divorce from NBA player Kris Humphries took another nasty turn when court documents were allegedly purposely leaked recently. Kim Kardashian is said to be, “fed up with the courtroom tactics of her estranged husband, Kris Humphries - accusing his lawyers of leaking testimony”, according to the New York Post today. The leaked deposition testimony from their upcoming divorce trial centers on claims that Kim’s “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” reality show is scripted and that she cries on camera with the aid of a “tear stick”.
A recent “Life & Style” article reported KUWTK producer Russell Jay said in a deposition on Feb. 4, that Kim Kardashian demanded a retake of Kris Humphries’ marriage proposal because, “she didn’t like how her face looked in the first take”.
Additionally, the magazine reports that Kim filmed a scene, in which she complains to mom Kris Jenner about the state of her marriage, after the couple had already in fact split on Halloween of 2011.
“This is normal operating procedure on any reality show”, claimed one Kim source. “None of this shows fraud, which is what Kris is trying to prove. His entire case is based on the premise that he is the stupidest person on the planet.“.
Kris Humphries is claiming Kim Kardashian married him only for publicity, and then exploited him to boost TV ratings for her reality show.
The Post reports that Humphries’ L.A. lawyer, Marshall Waller, is supposedly quitting the case because, “he’s had enough of it”. But Kim is due to be deposed for the divorce case in just 2 weeks.
“It’s scheduled to take all day and Kim has been dreading it”, a source on Kris’ side exclusively told Radar Online. Kim and show’s producers, “set Kris up to look like a jerk”, on her show throughout their brief 72-day marriage.
“Anyone who loves someone, would not team up with their production team to make them look like a fool on TV”, the source added.
“It’s obvious they were trying to tarnish his reputation. This will prove how fake Kim and the show are”, another source told Hollywood Gossip.
If the Kim and Kris can’t come to some resolution, and if what’s transpired so far is any indication - they won't, the case will advance to trial on May 6.
