Kim Kardashian has experienced her share of hurtful rumors since becoming a household name. The tabloids often trash her relationship with Reggie Bush and even suggest that she has had plastic surgery. Kim has been able to take the personal attacks in stride, until now.
The reality star has taken to her Twitter page to defend accusations that she killed her own dog. The rumors surfaced yesterday when an internet tabloid posted horrific details of Kim's alleged animal cruelty. Celebjihad.com reported, "Miami police said they were called to Kardashian’s hotel Wednesday after a member of the cleaning staff brought the body of a dead dog to animal control officers. The dog, a small Pomeranian mix by the name of 'Lil’ Reggie,' had severe head trauma. Kardashian had been watching the dog while Bush was in New York."
The article went on to explain, " Police were told that Kardashian picked up the dog and threw it down on the ground after she learned that Reggie had been spotted with another woman at a New York nightclub. Authorities said Kardashian continued to stomp on the dog’s neck until it stopped moving. Guests of the hotel reported hearing Kardashian 'laughing manically' around the time of the incident."
Earlier today, Kim posted a statement to her fans. "There is some crazy rumor that I killed my dog. What a hurtful rumor! I would NEVER dare hurt my baby Rocky or any other animal!!!"
Strangely enough, this is not the first time Kim has been accused of animal cruelty. "What's so awful, is they made up this same exact rumor last year, that I stomped a dog to death! People are so cruel! This is not true!"
