Kim has been working out with a trainer and "has been eating really healthy," one of her friends told Us Weekly. And she's avoiding fad weight loss plans.
"[Kim] knows her body really well…she knows from years of dieting and taking care of her body that a crash course never works."
Thus far, reports of just what Kim is doing to lose the weight have ranged from hypnosis to a lock on her fridge. But Kim herself just may have hinted at her latest ploy to push away pounds: A psychic.
"Everyone, welcome my friend John Edward to twitter @psychicmediumje John- so happy I found u on twitter!" Kim tweeted on September 20.
And although it might not seem intuitive to consult a psychic about weight loss, John's site makes it evident that he is diet-conscious, writing recently: "Today, as I write the newsletter to you, it is with Special K snack brownies (100 calories) and a Zevia cola at my side" (Zevia is a 0-calorie soda).
Meanwhile, to hide her excess weight, Kim has taken to wearing baggy clothes. Dining out on September 20, she wore a long, camouflaging coat, reported the Daily Mail on September 21.
Celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson is working with Kim, according to the Daily Mail.
"She's a gorgeous woman. I think the reason why the weight is coming off is because she's very connected. I went and met little North and Kim's really taking it in stride," Tracy said.
However, Kim's friends informed Us Weekly that Kim's not so casual about the weight.
"She's extremely self-conscious about her current body," one source said. "It's taking a lot more work for the weight to come off now than it did for the first 20 pounds," the friend added.
And Tracy did add, "She's really connected to the baby, which is what's important. She's focused on the baby and nursing and taking her time." Tracy described Kim's attitude toward losing weight as "relaxed."
