Kim Kardashian banned from nude baby bump photos

Kim Kardashian thinks that it would be classy to bare her baby bump on the cover of a magazine, but according to a March 2 report by the Daily Star, Kanye West has banned her from pulling a Demi Moore.

Tons of other stars have posed nude with their baby bumps -- Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson, Mariah Carey, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, and Christina Aguilera all bared their expanding bellies on the covers of popular magazines. Kim is eager to join this little club of model mommies and thinks that her pregnancy could help her score the cover of one of the fashion magazines that always snub her. However, according to a source, Kanye “believes some things should be kept private.”

So Kanye West is okay stripping down and simulating sex with Kim Karadashian on the cover of L'Officiel Hommes, but Kim isn’t allowed to show off her baby bump in an artistic nude photo? The rapper’s reasoning rarely makes sense. Kanye allegedly wants Kim "to become more respectable and less publicity-hungry,” but his baby momma is already rocking the boat -- she’s trying to find a magazine to pose nude for and doesn’t care if she gets his approval to do it.

This could be the start of a little trouble in paradise for Kimye. If Kanye expects Kim to sit on the sidelines so that he can be the only star in the family, he’s in for a rude awakening. And just imagine the ugly, highly-publicized custody battle that would ensue if Kimye broke up over a fight about publicity.

Kim Kardashian is definitely ready for her bump to pop so that she can start showing it off. According to Yahoo! omg!, she recently wrote on her mommy blog, “When I really get my bump I will love showing it off, but some days it’s bigger than others and it hasn’t really popped yet ... so this in-between phase is so awkward to dress. I have gained lots of inches in width but can’t wait for the bump to pop … finding ways to conceal it is hard!”

So whether Kanye likes it or not, it sounds like Kim isn't planning on keeping her expanding stomach covered with massive muumuus. Once it finally “pops,” she’s going to quit trying to hide it and is going to show the world that she’s perfectly comfortable with mommyhood. And when she does pose naked with her pregnant belly on the cover of a magazine, maybe those ridiculous fake baby bump rumors will finally die down.
