Kim Kardashian’s baby daddy, Kanye West, is reportedly battling her mother, Kris Jenner, over what type of presence his offspring will have on the popular E! reality TV show, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
According to a Jan. 11, 2013 Hollywood Life report citing OK! Magazine, “Kris sees all of her offspring as money makers… With Kanye, he wants 100 percent full control of his first child with Kim—and he wants full control of Kim,” a source told the tabloid publication.
The source added that Kanye’s intent was demonstrated when he announced Kim’s pregnancy on his own after hearing that E! may be trying to time the announcement with the premiere of the Kardashian reality series.
The report continued with the source saying Kris has already been trying to get Kim deals with weight loss companies to endorse, so she can make money as she gets back in shape after she delivers her baby.
Another source told the website that despite any conflict, “Kris loves Kim and has always loved Kanye… they just don’t see eye to eye…” noting that Kris would eventually fold to her daughter’s wishes if push came to shove because “…she’s not willing to lose her grandchildren for money...”
