Kim Kardashian was front and center at the Clive Davis pre-Grammy party as news of the passing of iconic singer Whitney Houston was spread on the very premises at which this personality and other celebrities were gathered.
The lot had turned up at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, some not yet knowing what happened until after the truth was told. But others had not yet headed out, Kelly Osbourne included.
In fact, Kelly went to Twitter to explain her stance regarding the Clive Davis do which went on just after Whitney Houston was found dead. She said:
"not going to any pre grammy parties as i dont feel it is appropriate! see you all on #eredcarpet tomorrow!"
Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian also visited her fans on the social media microblogging site regarding the loss of Whitney Houston, stating:
"Just heard the tragic news that Whitney Houston passed away. I pray for her daughter & loved ones. We will always love you Whitney..."
That 140-character message was sent before Kimmy K showed up all gussied up in a cleavage heavy gown, during which time she hung with Britney Spears who was also in attendance for the Clive Davis pre-Grammy 2012 festivites in what had to be a surreal situation.
