According to a report from TMZ.com on Monday, Jan. 7, Kim Kardashian and her beau Kanye West have made a big decision about their forthcoming newborn baby.
Instead of trying to cash in on any pictures for the baby’s first images, Kim and Kanye have decided to turn down a $3 million tabloid offer for such photos.
Late last month, Kanye referred to Kim as his “baby mama” during a concert in Atlantic City, fueling speculation that Kim was pregnant. Soon thereafter, the 32-year old Kardashian would confirm the news in a Twitter update to her legion of followers.
Sources close to the power couple claim that they have been given substantial offers for the first pictures but that they are presently not looking to monetize in such a special moment.
A brief history of stars cashing in on baby pictures reveals that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie first collected $4.1 million for daughter Shiloh in 2006 and two years later pulled in $14 million for twins Knox and Vivienne.
In related news, sources revealed that Kim and Kanye are also against the idea of having their son/daughter featured in any forthcoming “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” episodes.
Of course, Kim and Kanye's stances could change as the months pass.
