Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may have filmed the proposal for the show, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” but it sounds like the proposal was leaked on YouTube, which threatened Kim and Kanye’s bottom line with the show. Of course, fans were supposed to see the proposal on the show first, but the video was leaked onto YouTube. Kim and Kanye sued YouTube founder Chad Hurley over the leaked video. According to a new Radar Online report published on March 23, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are not planning on settling a lawsuit with charity in mind.
They were offered a financial settlement with the goal of donating it to charity, but Kim and Kanye wanted all of the money for themselves and they have therefore shut down the settlement offer. “Chad wanted to make a donation to a charity just to make it go away,” a source has revealed. “But Kim and Kanye didn’t want the money to go to a charity, they want it to go directly to them.”
Of course, YouTube is a place where people can freely upload content they find. There are copyright laws in place, but “Chad really doesn’t think he did anything wrong,” the source reveals. One has to wonder what Chad’s side of the story is and how he got the video to begin with. What do you think?
