Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s baby will not be in the spotlight on the Kardashian TV shows, in fact the couple plan to keep their child away from the cameras all together. According to Us Weekly on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, Kim and Kanye have decided to keep their baby’s life “as private as possible.”
Kim and Kourtney Kardashian appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” this week and she surprisingly shared the decision she made with Kanye on keeping the baby off all the Kardashian reality shows. Kourtney, who has had her children on their reality shows numerous times, said her decision to have the kids appear was a struggle. When it came down to making the decision she felt the children were better off with their mom on the show than without mom.
Kim doesn’t think that Kourtney’s decision was wrong, it’s just that she and Kanye have different ideas. One can’t help wonder if maybe it was Kanye who made this big push to keep their up and coming bundle of joy out of the spotlight. Kim has lived her life in front of the cameras for years now and the same goes for the rest of the Kardashian clan, so one would think that it would stand to reason that her baby would be part of the reality shows.
Apparently Kim and Kanye are going to let their child make his or her own decision about being on the shows when they are old enough to do so. The most famous Kardashian sister also shared that they will not be dressing their baby in hand-me-downs due to Kanye’s obsession with fashion. Their first child will wear very fashionable clothes.
Kim did say that Kourtney had a few “key pieces” of clothing from her kids that she wouldn’t mind having for her baby, but the majority of the baby’s fashion will be new and stylish. She also said she believes that Kanye will have things “specially made” for their baby.
The couple talked about having children together one day, but Kim tells Kimmel that this pregnancy was a surprise. Kim called it “a nice surprise.”
