Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian on her birthday on Monday in San Francisco, Calif. According to Radar Online on Oct. 22 the rapper rented out AT&T park for Kim’s birthday and surprised her with the proposal along with a scroll on the scoreboard that read “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!”
“E! News” reported that Kanye first asked Kim’s momager, Kris Jenner, for her daughter's hand in marriage. He reportedly got down on one knee and presented Kim with a 15-carat diamond ring by jeweler to the stars, Lorraine Schwartz.
The couple was serenaded by a 50-piece orchestra that played Lana Del Rey's "Young and Beautiful," followed by Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo and Kanye's "Knock You Down," according to the report.
Also present for the occasion were Kim’s family and friends which came as a surprise to the birthday girl. Fireworks and Roman candles set the mood for the Kim, who turned 33. Baby North West was reportedly with the couple, but was not present for the proposal because of the cold weather.
Meanwhile, “E!” caught up with Kris and asked how she felt about the news. "A match made in heaven!" Kris said. "I am so happy for both of my kids, Kim and Kanye."
