It has been rumored that the reality star Kim Kardashian was expecting a baby by her rapper boyfriend Kanye West. The truth is out, and Kanye is the one who squashed the rumors. He himself made the announcement on stage at a concert with an audience of about 5,000 in Atlantic City on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012.
At the show while singing, the rapper told the crowd:
“Stop the music…can we make some noise for my baby mama?”
On Monday, Dec. 31, Kim confirmed her pregnancy. She wrote:
"It’s true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby. We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us. Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family. Happy New Year!!! Xo"
This will be the first child for Kim, 32, and Kanye, 35, who began dating in April 2012. Kim is still legally married to Kris Humphries whose marriage lasted only 72 days.
A divorce hearing for Kim and Kris is set to take place Feb. 15, 2013. She will be in her second trimester with another man's baby by then.
Kim has made it known many times that she wanted a child. She is said to be 12-weeks pregnant. That means she and Kate Middleton will be due around the same time. Now there are two pregnancies the nation will be following and talking about.
