Kim Kardashian and family drops $250,000 on ‘mediocre’ Christmas card

Kim Kardashian and her family shared their journey to create this year's Christmas card on the Kardashian Christmas special, which aired this weekend. And as fans saw, the Christmas card was elaborate, as they had several meetings over it and even considered cutting out the kids. According to a new Radar Online report published on Dec. 3, Kim Kardashian’s family apparently dropped $250,000 on this year’s Christmas card, which has only gotten some lukewarm reviews.

The elaborate photo shoot took “three days just to put the set together. David was extremely involved in all details of the set installation. It was Kim’s idea to get David to do the family photo Christmas picture,” a family insider has revealed about David LaChapelle’s involvement. “At first, David balked because he does photo shoots for major magazines, but Kim convinced him to do it. It wasn’t a cheap photo shoot, and the production company of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” paid the $250,000 invoice. Hair, make-up, wardrobe, were all paid for by production, and the Kardashians didn’t pay one dime for their Christmas card!”

The Christmas card is very colourful and modern, but it sounds like people are not reacting well to it. The card doesn't scream holiday spirit. The feedback from the Christmas card “has been lukewarm at best,” the source added. “It’s just over the top, and doesn’t feel like a family Christmas card at all.”

Are you surprised the family dropped that much on a card?
