Kim Granatell slams Teresa Giudice for cash-only charity donations

Kim Granatell is calling out Teresa Giudice, claiming her recent cash-only charity event wasn't something the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star was doing because she was a good person. Instead, Granatell claims Giudice was only doing it to make herself look good -- all while skimming the pot for herself.

Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice leave court after facing charges of defrauding lenders, illegally obtaining mortgages and other loans as well as allegedly hiding assets and income during a bankruptcy case on March 4, 2014 in Newark, United States.

“It’s disgusting,” Granatell told Radar Online on March 31.

“We’re going to try to reverse that role [of being the convicted felon] because we’re facing jail time, so let’s do anything that we can to show that ‘I am a good person all of a sudden,’” Granatell said of Giudice’s thought process.

Weeks ago, Giudice and her husband entered a guilty plea in regard to their ongoing fraud case, and as a result, will soon be sentenced, likely to years behind bars.

Also in the interview with Radar, Grantell revealed that Giudice was likely keeping the majority of the cash she received for herself, while donating a small portion to make herself seem like a good, law-abiding citizen. “I think it’s called the Teresa charity. ‘$24.50 for me and $.50 for them.’”

“If you are donating it to charity, you don’t ask for cash. You let people pay the way they can pay,” she explained. “If you’re asking for cash, it’s because you don’t want to show income and you’re hiding."

Giudice will be sentence in July.
