Kim DePaola doesn't think Teresa Giudice was aware of fraudulent dealings

Teresa Giudice may have just plead guilty to four counts of fraud, but her close friend and sometimes "Real Housewives of New Jersey" co-star, Kim DePaola, feels that she is innocent.

"I’m not slamming Joe, but I truly still stand firm that Teresa was having babies and going for lunch and having fun [and didn’t know] what she was signing," Kim told In Touch Weekly, according to a March 13 report by Wetpaint Entertainment.

Teresa has certainly been busy, so it's a possibility that she was completely unaware of what they were doing, but with all of the allegations of cars not in their name, and things of that nature, it seems unlikely that she wouldn't have had her questions.

From what fans, and the general public, have been told about the case, it's hard to come to a real conclusion about what has gone down behind closed doors. However, with 42 counts against them, it is extremely hard to believe that Teresa was unaware of her and Joe's fraudulent dealings.

Either way, Teresa and Joe are both facing jail time -- and likely years of it. Joe is even facing a possible deportation once he is released from prison in the States. Since he is not a U.S. citizen, rumor has it that Joe could be heading back to his native Italy when he is done serving his time.
