A report from this morning, June 30, 2014 (Manila time) or this evening, June 29, 2014 (U.S. time) confirms that "Bride for Rent,” the blockbuster movie of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim, has made a lot of money compared to “Maybe This Time Time,” the first big screen team up of Sarah Geronimo and Coco Martin. Based on the latest rankings, “Bide For Rent” is occupying the fourth spot with its $7,348,239 or (Php326,958,423) total gross while “Maybe This Time” is occupying the ninth spot with its $3,075,008 or (Php134,638,610).

While the pop princess and the TV series king were just doing the film, some observers were saying that “Maybe This Time” would become one of the top grossing Filipino film of all time after its entire run in theaters nationwide due to the unique chemistry onscreen of Sarah Geronimo and Coco Martin, but like what the reports say, it has only occupied the ninth spot as far as gross income is concerned. Meanwhile, due to the success of the movie, “Bride For Rent,” Star Cinema is now planning to give Kim Chiu and Xian Lim another chance to show their superb onscreen chemistry.

Reports said they had a story conference last week with the comedy concert queen Ai Ai Delas Alas. According to some observers who are following Kim and Xian since their “My Binondo Girl” days, their next movie will surely hit the movie houses by storm not only because of the comedy antics of AiAi but also because of their unexplained onscreen chemistry.

There are also reports confirming their relationship, but based on their previous interviews with reporters, they’re just friends. Going back to Sarah Geronimo; reports are claiming that she is scheduled to do another movie with her favorite leading man, John Lloyd Cruz, according to an ABS-CBN insider, the movie will discuss the married life of Laida Magtalas and Miggy Montenegro.
