Kim Basinger took inspiration from Menswear to attend the special screening of her latest film 'Grudge Match' benefiting the Tribeca Film Insititute at the Ziegfeld Theater on December 16, 2013 in New York City.
Hair slicked back in a ponytail and sporting a shock of red lipstick, Kim showed the boys how to don a three-piece suit, in this case navy pin-striped, with pocketwatch, baby blue and white shirt and printed tie. And yes, those looked like men’s oxford shoes as well!
Basinger, 60, was joined by her costars Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro, who duke it out together in the film as a couple of old boxing rivals.
To capture the ambience of the storyline, attendees to the premiere were treated to a gold punching bag to try their pugilistic skills on or perhaps to vent some pent up frustration or aggression…
Under the direction of Peter Segal, 'Grudge Match' is actually about a couple of boxing rivals who are coaxed out of retirement to fight one last bout together, some thirty years after their last match!
Also attending the 'Grudge Match' screening were other costars and celebrities including costar Kevin Hart with girlfriend model Eniko Parrish, Elizabeth Olin, Patrick Barry, Vincent Pastore, singer Frankie Valli, tennis champion John McEnroe, TV personality Sherri Shepherd, model Jennifer Flavin, Tony Lo Bianco and Alyse Muldoon, professional boxer Larry Holmes, Carrie Keagan and Josh Cowdery.
