Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have reportedly sold the $11 million mansion they purchased just weeks after buying it. The power couple flipped the 14,000 square foot Bel Air house selling it for more than a million dollars more than they paid for it just last month, according to a Feb. 21 report by the New York Daily News.
It's unclear why Kim K. and Kanye decided to sell the home before they even moved in, but it's speculated location may have been one reason. The close-knit Kardashian clan lives about 25 miles west in Calabassas. Kimye may have also been pushed to flip the mansion after widespread media reports about the purchase of the home in the gated community. Around the time of the Jan. 8 purchase, Huffington Post suggested the media attention surrounding the expectant couple's home purchase could be enough to stop the sale altogether. Apparently it had already gone through. Apparently, the next best option for Kim and Kanye: sell it for profit.
As Examiner.com previously reported the Italian villa-style home is said to include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a movie theater, basketball court, makeup and hair salon and a bowling alley.
Kim Kardashian's been busy with real estate lately. Earlier this week, it was confirmed she quickly sold the LA pad she briefly lived in with estranged husband Kris Humphries. She and Kanye are also reportedly shopping for mansions in New York, Miami, Paris and possibly Rio.
