Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their baby girl almost a week ago, but one more delivery was yet to be made. As congratulations from friends and fans poured in, no name was confirmed by Baby Kimye’s family. However, a report suggested that a nurse spilled the beans, er, letters.

The Cedars Sinai hospital employee said the name was ‘Kaidence Donda West.’ This moniker seemed to be the most plausible and Kanye-influenced. It’s easy to imagine that the recording artist would opt for a music-inspired name, and even more believable that Kim would want to spell it with a ‘K.’ Donda is also the name of ‘Ye’s late mother, Donda West, for whom he also named his creative company.

This possible name clashed with other sources. According to a close family friend, the newborn was named ‘Kai Georgia Donda West.’ Georgia was said to be a testament to George, which is the middle name of the late Robert Kardashian Sr.

A report from TMZ took the guesswork in a different direction- literally. Apparently someone from the outlet found a birth certificate with ‘North West’ printed on it. It was rumored that Kim was considering a directional name to compliment her boyfriend’s last name.

E! News, with which Kim has close ties, has recently confirmed this last report, and added that the baby will go by the nickname, 'Nori.'

This was a credentialed assignment.
