Sony released a new trailer for "Killzone: Shadow Fall" on Wednesday that takes a look at the plot for the PS4 exclusive that was revealed last week.
The new trailer is essentially a re-cut of the video that was shown of "Killzone: Shadow Fall" at Sony's Playstation 4 reveal event. However, it includes a voiceover this time that explains the conflict in the shooter.
"Killzone: Shadow Fall" takes place 30 years after the events in "Killzone 3" and features both the Helghan and Vektan living in a massive city that is divided by a security wall. The animosity between the two factions eventually bubbles over causing a full scale conflict.
Guerrilla Games managing director Hermen Hulst described the setting of the game as a Cold War parable.
"The story draws parallels to Cold War Berlin, with two factions living side by side divided by a vast wall," he said. "This is a story about the loss of home, the search of new home, and the lengths to which people go to defend it."
