Shuhei Yoshida has commented on the lineup of first-party exclusive video games, including “Killzone Shadow Fall” and “The Order: 1886.” According to a report from MCV Pacific on Jan. 31, the president of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios confirmed that the latest mainline installment of the “Killzone” franchise has sold 2.1 million copies so far.

Shuhei Yoshida stated that he is “thrilled” that a lot of players are enjoying “Killzone Shadow Fall” while praising the development team at Guerrilla Games in the process. He went on to mention that his company currently has more than 30 games in development including the following PS4 exclusives: “Driveclub,” “inFamous Second Son” and the aforesaid “The Order: 1886.” You can find some screenshots from “Killzone Shadow Fall” in the slideshow to the left of this article and his comments below:

I am thrilled that so many users have been enjoying KILLZONE SHADOW FALL since the launch of PS4. This title fully embraces the creativity of the development team at Guerrilla Games based in the Netherlands, and is a great representation of what SCE WWS has to offer. SCE will continue to deliver exciting software titles, and is currently developing more than 30 titles including DRIVECLUB™, inFAMOUS Second Son™ and The Order: 1886™, which offer entertainment experiences only possible on PS4.

“inFamous Second Son” will be arriving next month on March 21st in the United States. “Driveclub” and “The Order: 1886” are also expected to come out sometime later this year.

“Killzone Shadow Fall” was released at the launch of the PS4 last year, which took place on Nov. 15th for select territories including the United States. Approximately half of the customers that purchased the next-generation system brought the first-person shooting video game.

Sony Computer Entertainment is the publisher behind all four aforementioned PS4 exclusive video games.
