Killzone Shadow Fall's console shape doesn't matter (Photos)

"Killzone Shadow Fall" was one of the newly unveiled PlayStation 4 games last week, and there had been some talk about the fact that the PS4 had not been physically unveiled, despite impressive demos from games like "Shadow Fall."

According to report from VideoGamer yesterday, Sony Computer Entertainment United Kingdom boss Fergal Gara talked about the complaints some people had with not seeing the PS4 in its physical form.

"[There was a] bit of cynicism over 'we didn’t see the box' and that kind of stuff, 'we don't know quite what date and quite what price.'

"I understand that frustration but frankly, a box is a box. Is that really the most important thing?

"So right, it wasn't available to show last night, it wasn't considered appropriate to show it last night.

"So what? It's much more important to see what the damn thing does. The shiniest piece of black, green or purple plastic ever, you know, whatever, so what? It's not the most important thing," Gara said.

Sony didn't need to show off everything at the first event for the console, especially with PAX East and E3 2013 still to come this year.

More information about the PlayStation 4 will come in due time.
