Playstation 4 owners received an early holiday present this past weekend after Guerilla Games released a new update for Killzone Shadow Fall which brought several additions and bug fixes to the game. The developer posted the full patch notes on the title’s official forums on Dec 21, shortly after the update became available for download on Saturday morning.

Patch 1.07 for Killzone Shadow Fall added new voice chat options, optional color blindness support to menus, and explanations of Warzones in the main menu. Several in-game tweaks were also pushed live with the latest patch which added links to the games DLC packs in the Playstation Store. Additionally, a few bug issues were resolved in the update which should make the game more stable and suffer fewer crashes.

Killzone Shadow Fall is out now, exclusively on the Playstation 4. The game is hosting a free multiplayer weekend starting Dec 28 which will allow PS4 owners who haven’t yet purchased the title to try out the game’s multiplayer mode. PS Plus members can now begin downloading the full game in anticipation of the upcoming weekend trial.
