According to Joystiq on Feb. 21, Guerrilla Games has confirmed that "Killzone: Shadow Fall" will be a launch game for the Playstation 4 when the console goes on sale. The confirmation was posted on the Playstation Blog by senior producer Steven Ter Heide.
"Today we are happy we can finally show you what we have been working on," Heide said. "It has been an amazing journey for us so far, being offered the opportunity to be a launch title for the new PlayStation, and the subsequent mild panic to figure out how to best handle all of that. But being able to now share it with you is both a scary and proud moment. We are hoping you will like what we have created, and are happy to present you with the first glimpse of Killzone: Shadow Fall".
The graphics look great and the PS4 system will be unique in the fact that it'll be the first console that will take on the characteristics of a social network. This network is also known as the "Sony Cloud". A user can even be viewed on Facebook playing a game in real time. Unfortunately, with the introduction of the console, they never showed the actual box, only its controller accessory. Needless to say, some PS4 fans were probably baffled and irritated at the same time.
Hopefully, the introductory "growing pains" might be relieved once Sony decides to provide more eye candy to the public.
