Killzone 2 debuts at #3 in Japanese sales chart

The popular Playstation 3 exclusive game finally launch in Japan last week. Killzone managed to grab the number three spot on Japanese sales charts behind Monster Hunter G for the Nintendo Wii and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky for the Nintendo DS.

The leaked numbers have Killzone 2 selling 43,000 units in Japan during the first week, an impressive number considering that western games and first-person shooters aren’t really popular in the land of the rising sun.
