Katie (Katie Cassidy) kills roommate's Zoe's (Shannon Chan-Kent) abusive boyfriend. Hence, Zoe owes Katie the death of one abusive boyfriend. Logical, right? Can someone say, "Certifiable?"
Zoe is apprehensive, since the law heavily frowns on such crimes. But, she considers it. She even discusses it a friend, without telling the friend that murder was on the agenda.
The friend advised that Zoe do what she needed to do. Then, to never do it again.
Nice.
The movie ends in a blood bath.
Katie: I killed for you. Now, you kill for me.
Katie: I still have the axe. It has your fingerprints all over it.
Katie: It's Mark, or my dad. You're going to kill someone.
Katie: There's a way that we can fix everything. We solve both of our problems.
Katie: We can pin it on my dad.
Zoe: I told the cops, but, there's nothing they can do about it.
Zoe: Next thing I knew, we were in front of the cameras.
Zoe: When are you going to get it through your thick skull? We're done.
