It’s about a girl named Kiki who is a witch. When she is thirteen, she is study in new town away from her parents. She leaves on the night of a full moon. She settles into a new town and on her first day there, she meets a boy named Tombo and a woman named Osono. Osono owns a bakery. A customer of Osono’s forgets her baby’s pacifier and Kiki kindly offers help to take back to the customer. After that, Osono offers her a place to stay with some stipulations and an idea of what she could do while she is there. She doesn’t like the boy Tombo.

She does very well for herself. But then something happens, she gets sick and begins to lose her powers. Does she get them back? Do she become friends with Tombo? You’ll have to watch to find out.

This movie is rated G. So, everyone can watch it. This is recommended for everyone. It’s like everything you have come to expect from Miyazaki. It’s your typical coming of age story. If you like Sabrina the Teenage Witch, you’ll like this.

If you live in the Colorado Springs area, you can find a copy at this at any store or at you local PPLD branch. Happy Watching!
