Graduation's, Summer Vacations, Father's Day are all signs that the hot summer months are here. And while many look forward to more daylight and fun in the sun, it also means that it could be an oily, sweaty season and your skin could use a little more care. Kiehl's Since 1851 is launching Oil Eliminator, a three-step regimen to work with a man's skin to manage excess oil. Kiehl's is always looking into finding the best ingredients and latest technologies to bring the best products to its clients and this time they looked to space. They key ingredient in the Oil Eliminator 24-hour Anti-Shine Moisturizer for Men is Aerolite, an advanced material based on the science of aerogel, used in space exploration. “Breakthrough technology from other sciences helps us to make efficacious formulas for our customers. By looking beyond traditional skincare ingredients, we are able to find new insights that can help us provide real solutions to skin concerns” states Geoff Genesky, head of Kiehl's Skin Care Laboratory, Research and Innovation Manager.
Aerolite is the lightest solid material on Earth because it is composed of up to 99.98% air by volume, helping create a weightless feel on the skin. Its highly porous structure and large surface area allows it to absorb four times its own weight in oil. It also disperses and vaporizes sweat away from the skin. The new Oil Eliminator regimen will help matify skin and minimize the appearance of enlarged, clogged pores.
The skincare line is a three-step regimen: Oil Eliminator Deep Cleansing Exfoliating Face Wash, Oil Eliminator Refreshing Shine Control Toner and Oil Eliminator 24-Hour Anti-Shine Moisturizer.
The new line is available now at Kiehl's locations or online.
